The Unraveling is a space to…you guessed it, unravel! Using music and movement as our guide, we welcome the unwinding, the unbinding, the UNRAVELING, to reveal and touch more of the truth of who we are. What are we unraveling? The stories, the tension, the knots that have formed within our fibres from holding-stuffing-carrying things that can be set down-shook off-danced out. Just like the picture denotes, the tangled knot becomes the spiral, a track we can follow to our inner core, where we get to experience who we are beyond these stories, blocks and beliefs. You can unravel your day or unravel lifetimes, what happens on the dance floor is mysterious and mystical. One moment you are dancing, the next you are the dance.
Our modality is Ecstatic Dance - a free form moving meditation with no steps to follow, rather following the wisdom of your body. The music is carefully curated to take you on a journey, with each person experiencing their own unique journey amidst an amplified collective energy field. ED is a deeply introspective practice, often done with eyes closed. I have never found a quicker, more effective, and FUN way to bust out of holding patterns, break free of our own self-created prisons, and express what’s DYING to be expressed. I liken the dance floor to a magical vortex that sucks what’s weighing us down out into an alchemical field to be transmuted into substance that serves.

“Lindsey is the essence of freedom through dance in human form.
Her devotion to her ecstatic dance creation is palpable. You can feel her intention throughout, from the opening ceremony through the dance journey to the closing circle. Each piece is intentionally crafted and carried out in such beauty.
The environment Lindsey creates welcomes all expressions in all forms.
For me, her dances are movement medicine for my soul."

"Lindsey's dances are absolutely amazing. As someone who was never really comfortable dancing in public and really letting go, I've found ecstatic dance to be such a freeing and empowering practice. Lindsey creates a warm welcome and safe environment to be yourself and really feel safe getting into your body. Not to mention the playlists are always 🔥.
If you haven't been to one of Lindsey’s ecstatic dances before, try it, I can't tell you how healing and meditative they are!"

“Lindsey is a powerful space holder who beautifully embodies the spirit of ecstatic dance. Through her cacao ceremonies and dance gatherings, she offers our community a sacred and meaningful way to honor the Earth's natural cycles and live in harmony with them. Her events are unique, inclusive, powerful, and full of magic. I'm deeply grateful to have been part of her ecstatic community for over four years, and I wholeheartedly recommend experiencing her offerings.”

“Lindsey makes an awesome playlist for ecstatic dance that flows really well. She also creates a safe environment that has allowed me to tune out my mind chatter and tune into my playful curious side, explore my own movement, and just have fun!”
